Tips for writing great posts that increase your site traffic

websitebuilder • March 3, 2020

Write about something you know. If you don’t know much about a specific topic that will interest your readers, invite an expert to write about it.

Speak to your audience

You know your audience better than anyone else, so keep them in mind as you write your blog posts. Write about things they care about. If you have a company Facebook page, look here to find topics to write about

Take a few moments to plan your post

Once you have a great idea for a post, write the first draft. Some people like to start with the title and then work on the paragraphs. Other people like to start with subtitles and go from there. Choose the method that works for you.

Don’t forget to add images

Be sure to include a few high-quality images in your blog. Images break up the text and make it more readable. They can also convey emotions or ideas that are hard to put into words.

Edit carefully before posting

Once you’re happy with the text, put it aside for a day or two, and then re-read it. You’ll probably find a few things you want to add, and a couple more that you want to remove. Have a friend or colleague look it over to make sure there are no mistakes. When your post is error-free, set it up in your blog and publish.

Today, I sit amazed at what has been going on then last few months. I would like to say, Too Much has been going on. We were ordered to stay at home around March 13, 2020. My husbands birthday was on March 23rd. We didn't do much because we were adjusting to the Governor's mandates. Many of them did not make sense to me. At the time my 20 year old daughter left home to be on her own which was quite an adjustment but I am better now. Most things changed to do things online, like church service, work and talking to family. Talking online was great for awhile but I am a people person who enjoys face to face conversation hugs and more. I have been in menopause for a few years but to wear the mask is frustrating especially during hot flashes. In the midst of this there have been changes in America due to police officers accused of mistreating and killing black men. The caused peace protest to looting, destroying businesses, hurting innocent people, demands to get rid of police and CHAZ/CHOP. Most of the time you turn on TV the message is "The New Norm". So many people I know have adjusted to staying home, wearing the mask, order most things online, drive by pickup of foods and accepting The New Norm". I have to confess I do not like or want the "The New Norm". I go out and it hurts to see people in masks. You can hardly hear them at times. You can't see their faces. This is not how God created us to live the rest of our lives. We were create to enjoy nature and to interact with each other . I do not not want to live the rest of my life or see others live the rest of their lives like this either. What is the answer? I don't know but prayer is the way to get a spiritual answer. The government and all the other agencies do not have the true answer either. This is a spiritual matter. Prayer works. We can pray individually but corporate prayer works better. I am praying to find a group of Christian who are praying for God's answer, God's deliverance and more to all of this. We need answers now.

As I get up morning for the past few week, I read and hear about the Coronavirus. I enjoy watching the news at times but I at times I get tired of hearing the same story, over and over again. Please don't get me wrong, I do not take it lightly that the virus has and is effecting so many lives and there has been deaths. My heart and prayers goes out to all who have been are effective by this and who have lost loved ones. Should we fear it?

This morning I hear the alarm and my mind wanted to get up at 5 a.m. but my body said no way. So, Yes, I pressed the snooze button...3 times. I finally get up and have my devotionals but I struggle because I have fear. I am working on not worrying and walking in fear. My husband and I have be facing a problem since the end of December. We have seen miracles happen, but my mind keep rehearsing the past. My husband is no longer working as a consultant and we are praying and seeking ways to get the catering back up and flowing or for another business opportunity. Meanwhile, I am applying for jobs and seeking at home work which is what I really want to do. I was contacted for a Job interview for this Friday. I also found some business opportunities to work at home but I have to have a website and alot of social pages. I had issues with that most of the afternoon. Today, Joseph and I just started a new eating program called Shibboleth. We had to make some meals Keto because we did not have all the ingredients. I was stressing out because they have some formulas to follow to match the fats, with the protein and proper amounts of carbs allowed. Praise the Lord, Joseph help me with that. This is one of those Monday's I had to force myself to focus on the answer I desire instead of focusing on the problem. I admit at times it is hard. Today is a short blog. I will talk to you tomorrow.
